Digitization of parts of the Library of Congresss Americana collection. The goal is to have 5,000,000 items digitized by the year 2000, of which LC would do 1,000,000 with the remainder to be done by other library and archival institutions. (still seeking funds)

Certificate in Data Curation

A new post-masters certificate program in data curation is now available at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Geared toward practicing professionals who are responsible for digital or data curation, the program emphasizes policy and technology in an intensive and extensive two-year, 30 credit hour program.
