Hidden Collections Program Symposium

CLIR's goal is that the discussions at this meeting be participant-driven and focused on topics of shared interest. Please review the draft agenda and participant guidelines, sending any comments and suggestions to Christa Williford, Program Associate.

Participants from all projects are asked to prepare a conference-style poster highlighting lessons learned (2008 projects) or questions and concerns (2009 projects) related to their project work. Posters should be submitted electronically by March 15, 2010, for printing by CLIR staff.

We have reached full capacity for this meeting, and registration is now closed. If you have questions about registration, please contact Amy Lucko or Christa Williford.

The conference will be held at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, DC. The hotel is two blocks away from Union Station, which is the site of Metro, Amtrak and MARC stations. For those who will be flying: participants arriving at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) may take Metro from the airport to Union Station (on the Red line). Those arriving at Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) may take a free shuttle from the airport to the Amtrak BWI station, where they may take an Amtrak or MARC train directly to Union Station. Those flying into Dulles International Airport (IAD) should be prepared to take a taxi or airport shuttle from the airport to the hotel, as mass transit is not readily available.

Participants are strongly encouraged to join in so that we might prepare together for a successful meeting. Any announcements of general interest will still be made through the e-mail discussion list.
